Youth Art Blog: Wrapping Up Perseverance

Last week's art therapy classes wrapped up June's theme of perseverance!  To end our month with a bang, we worked on creating paper mosaics that represented what perseverance meant to us.   So many of the youth created mosaics of trees, which they explained represented the strong, consistent, deep-rooted aspect of perseverance; no matter how hard the wind blew, the youth's trees remained rooted and stable in the ground.  Other youth made mosaics of love, adventure, and even tornadoes.  The youth stayed so focused on this project, despite the fact that it was a little more time intensive than they had originally expected.  Check out what they created below!
