5th Annual HALO-KC Youth Fashion Show Highlights!

The 2015 HALO-KC Youth Fashion Show - Be Younique, Be Youtiful, Be YOU! - has drawn to a close, and last week's Blog thanked all of the wonderful people that made it possible.

5th Annual HALO Youth Fashion Show - Thank YOU!

The 5th Annual HALO Youth Fashion Show (Be Younique, Be Youtiful, Be YOU!) went off without a hitch last week, and was a huge success for the HALO Learning Center - KC. Over 25 HALO youth were able to express their individuality and grow their confidence because of the support of HALO staff, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and friends.

It’s finally here! HALO-KC’s 5th Annual Fashion Show is happening tomorrow night, August 6th, and we could not be more excited!

HALO youth have been working very hard in the last few weeks to create unique and fun outfits to show off at the Fashion Show. This has been a unique opportunity for our youth in that they are able to learn much about personal style and inner beauty, as well as learning how to use fashion to express themselves. To get a feel for what we’re looking forward to, check out our highlights video from 2014!

Miss Missouri Teen Christina Stratton will be the event’s Runway MC, and she will introduce youth and their designs as they walk down the runway. Along with all this excitement, local Kansas City premiere items will be available for bidding in a silent auction.

Please join us at the Terrace on Grand tomorrow night, August 6th, in giving our youth a valuable boost in self-confidence as they express themselves in this creative way. This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate and support our youth, and tickets are still available for purchase at halokc.org.
