Dia de los Muertos

Holiday season provides a good opportunity to learn about other cultures while celebrating their traditions. With the holiday season just beginning, we took a dive into the Mexican culture to learn more about Dia de los Muertos - the Day of the Dead. Both reStart's Youth Emergency Shelter and Front Porch Alliance youth learned about the history of the holiday, as well as both traditional and more recent ways to celebrate and honor those who've passed.
