HALO Gets Some Fuzzy Friends!

Animals! Cute, fuzzy, warm and fluffy–man’s best friend, right? Of course! Well, at the HALO Learning Center – KC, we’re welcoming some fuzzy faces as new friends!
Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) has been a form of therapy widely researched and proven for its beneficial effects of relaxation. HALO – KC felt like this would be a great (and cute!) service to offer to the youth during their art workshops.
Our first furry guest was Hawk, a short haired Collie, and his owner Jennifer. Hawk, Jennifer, and HALO Youth had a blast hanging out together and having some relaxing fun.
Scroll through the photos for to check out the adventures of Hawk and HALO! For more photos and other HALO information, please visit our Facebook page.  If you want to volunteer and be part of HALO’s mission, go to www.haloworldwide.org.
