Last week, HALO youth learned about being a self-starting entrepreneur while tapping into their creative genius!
Julie Arnold, of fiveandone.net, spoke with youth about how her Garden Kit started as a fun project for her family, and ended up being a fast-selling product at Anthropologie stores around the nation, selling 900 kits!
Youth also got to join in on the creation of several more Garden Kits, painting and assembling the products. Check out the fun pics below of how our youth made the process their own!
This (limited) number of Garden Kits, hand-painted by HALO youth, will be for sale at our upcoming Art Auction event on February 27th. To get your ticket to the event, visit our website at http://haloworldwide.org/kc-artreach-auction/ .
To learn about other ways you can give back to HALO youth, at home and abroad, visit us at haloworldwide.org or like us on Facebook!
